To Prepare

• Meet with your teacher to schedule your lessons
• Learn if students have food allergies or preferences
• Download and review the lesson packet
• Complete the docent training for the lesson you are teaching
• Enroll an assistant to help deliver the lessons
• Practice! Practice!  Practice!

Day Of Lesson Preparation:

• Review your checklist prior to lesson to ensure you have your materials
• Arrive early and be on time to the classroom
• Do not go over your alloted time- students have very busy schedules
• Clean up after the lesson
• Thank your teacher with a follow up email or note
