Paul Reiner is a leader of Deloitte Consulting’s Retail & Consumer Products Strategy and M&A practices.  For the past 25 years, Paul has worked extensively with Retailers and Consumer Products companies on growth strategies, operating model transformation and omnichannel customer experience.

Prior to Deloitte, Paul spent a decade as a corporate executive at PepsiCo, Mattel and Guitar Center.  During the first decade of his career, Paul was a Business Law Partner at Arnold & Porter, structuring and negotiating acquisitions, alliances, financings and license agreements.

Paul is a Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) and earned a J.D. from New York University and a Finance from Indiana University.

Born and raised in Southern California, Austin stayed close to home while attending UCLA. He has a passion for mentorship and frequently volunteers in the local community (often working with kids). Austin formerly worked at Deloitte, where he worked on many different types of projects ranging from produce sustainability to medical device manufacturing. He has since transitioned to entertainment and now works at Netflix on their Content Strategy & Analysis team based in Los Angeles.

Grace is from the Sacramento area and attended Claremont McKenna College (CMC), where she studied economics. While at CMC, Grace learned about the issue of food deserts and low-income communities’ lack of access to fresh and healthy food. Having realized that health is influenced by factors beyond the doctor’s office, Grace has become particularly passionate about organizations like GrowingGreat that are working to ensure all individuals can lead healthy lives, regardless of their socioeconomic status. At Deloitte, Grace primarily works on M&A and strategy projects across the industrial products, technology and healthcare industries.

Alexa is passionate about the professional and personal development of others. At Deloitte, she serves as the Career Development Lead for more than 700 marketing and communications professionals as well as an advisory member of marketing’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Alexa is a two-time TED speaker. Her talks explore ways for young people to realize and harness their self-worth in an image-obsessed society. Alexa grew up in Dallas and currently lives in Los Angeles. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Nikkie was born in Northern California, moving to southern California to attend UCLA. Nikkie has a passion for sustainability and nutrition and she has always loved working with children. At Deloitte, Nikkie primarily works in life sciences strategy, particularly in the rare disease space, and his highly involved in the LA local office community.

Summer is a strategic marketer for Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory’s Risk Intelligence group. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and the intersection of business, brand, and design. She graduated from University of Southern California with a BS in Business Administration, and a minor in Communication Design. Summer is originally from Newport Beach, CA and currently lives in Los Angeles.

She graduated with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where she was passionately involved in community empowerment through entrepreneurship. A California native and based in Los Angeles, Megan enjoys spending time in nature and is a health and wellness enthusiast.

John Hudson

John is an Oregon-native, who quickly embraced the culture, lifestyle, and weather of Southern California when he moved to West Los Angeles over five years ago. He is very grateful for the strong foundation of STEM-focused education that he received throughout his life, and he is excited by small opportunities to help foster that same experience in others.

Professionally, John is a Strategy and Operations Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He helps Technology, Media, and Telecommunications clients achieve their financial goals by advising them through strategic growth opportunities and M&A activity. However, his most rewarding experience has been the opportunity to provide pro-bono consulting services to non-profit organizations abroad. John holds a BS in Neuroscience from UCLA.

A proud graduate of the University of Southern California, Sophia joined Deloitte in 2016 to enable digital, technological, and workforce transformation with Government, Higher Education, and Non-Profit clients.

Community enrichment is one of Sophia’s core values – as a result, she has committed extensive time giving back through leadership positions in a number of social impact organizations through Deloitte including serving as the Social Impact Chair for the technology analyst community both in Los Angeles and Nationally, completing numerous pro-bono projects on behalf of Deloitte’s StepUp:LA organization, and serving on the GrowingGreat Junior Board.

Nicole Pippert is an experienced designer passionate about helping people and teams reach their full potential. At Deloitte, she produces breakthrough Greenhouse labs for clients and spent four years driving talent strategy for Deloitte’s award-winning marketing organization. Nicole is highly engaged in her community, serving as an alumni ambassador for the University of Southern California and a mentor for high school and college students. Originally from a small town in Massachusetts, Nicole lived in Los Angeles for seven years before recently relocating to San Francisco.
