2019 Farm to Table

Thank you to all of our attendees, celebrity chefs, event chairs, 72andSunny, GrowingGreat Chefs from Environmental Charter Middle School, Inglewood and our sponsors who supported GrowingGreat at Farm to Table 2019!

GrowingGreat celebrated our 20th Anniversary on April 27, 2019 with our many friends and supporters. The event took place under the starsat 72andSunny where we honored Chef David LeFevre {M.B. Post, Fishing With Dynamite, The Arthur J} with our Green Fork Award and thanked him for his generosity to GrowingGreat. Our National Leadership Award was presented to the Association of Science-Technology Centers who have partnered with GrowingGreat to bring our hands-on garden, science and nutrition activities to museums nationwide. Chef David’s friends Della Gossett (Spago, Beverly Hills) and Austin Cobb (The Strand House) prepared appetizers for the pre-meal cooking demonstrations. Chef Neal Fraser (Redbird and Vibiana) prepared the delicious dinner.

Thank you to our honorary chairs Andrea and Michael Zislis (Shade Hotel) for their continued support of GrowingGreat and to our guests who generously contributed to making the event a success! Proceeds from the event support our garden and nutrition education programs in low-income communities across the country.
