Reflections from GrowingGreat’s Newest Educator

Being the newest member of GrowingGreat over the summer has given me the opportunity to observe my fellow Garden Educators in our various programs across Los Angeles. I enjoyed seeing our Early Childhood Program Manager Adriana Bikouvaris teach in creative ways that helped the children understand concepts. My favorite experience was making the Garden Sensory Bags, which helped me see how much the children learned about what is needed to help flowers and plants grow. It was such a wonderful experience to see the impact GrowingGreat has had on these children and the future impact it will have on them. — Vermonica Orosco
