Laura Hoyos Kainsinger, MPH (right), is our new Director of Community Outreach. She has over 18 years’ experience focusing on increasing health access among lower socioeconomic, Spanish-speaking communities throughout Los Angeles County. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Science and a Master in Public Health from UCLA. Stephanie Hartney (left) is our new Director of STEM Programs. Stephanie has served as an informal outdoor and STEM educator in corporate and non-profit settings for over four years. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies with Emphasis in Writing from UC Santa Barbara. Both Laura and Stephanie are experienced GrowingGreat volunteers, teaching nutrition, STEM and garden activities.
